Cabbie killed in Montego Bay

ST JAMES, Jamaica —The police are now on the scene in Capital Heights, Montego Bay, St James where a taxi operator was fatally shot.

He has been identified as 43-year-old O’Neil Smith from Albion in the parish.

Initial reports from police sources indicate that Smith was shot inside a restaurant. The area has been cordoned off and traffic diverted.

Investigations continue.
