Gas prices up $3.06, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, April 21, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $3.06, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $193.89 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $198.91 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $202.70 per litre after an increase of $4.50, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $205.44 per litre after an increase of $4.50.
Kerosene also increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $175.56 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.50 per litre, up by $3.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $91.17 per litre after an increase of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
