Beer It All, originally one of Jamaica’s first big beer-inclusive events, returns to the entertainment scene Thursday, May 5, 2022, for Cinco de Mayo.

The event has taken the form of a day into night lyme from 3pm to 12am at the Janga’s Soundbar on Belmont Road in St Andrew.

“Well, as you may know, Cinco de Mayo, is one of the world’s largest celebrations of beer. DJ Delano of the legendary Renaissance Sound System (Beer It All’s original host) and I decided there couldn’t be a better time and date to bring back everyone’s favourite event,” said Nicholas “Nick Mack” McDavid who is promoting the experience.

He also went on to explain, “The intention is to stir up a bit of nostalgia, as the event has not been held for at least 10 years, and add a bit of youthful infusion.”

Supported by the Janga’s team, the kitchen will be in full swing preparing menu favourites including tacos that are traditionally consumed with beer which will also be on offer at this celebration which is inextricably connected to the festive nation of Mexico. The hosts will be offering a Sol Beer super deal, an attractive deal on Heineken and deals on all other locally brewed beers by Red Stripe/The Heineken Company.

Event originator DJ Delano, describes the event as a “flag-planting ceremony” for Cinco de Mayo and labels it “a sign of and bigger things to come from the Beer It All brand.”

The event will feature Kevi The Kinetic who is picking up steam as a DJ on the local event scene and will also have veteran maestro DJ Delano and his son Delano III aka 3D at the turntables playing as a father and son duo for the first time anywhere in Jamaica.

The event has no cover charge and organisers are encouraging attendees to reach early to take part in the festivities and to take advantage of special beer spot prizes and food specials that will only be available for the early segment between 3pm and 6pm.

“We want everyone to come out early and enjoy as much of the event as they can,” DJ Delano said.
