Kingston College.
What is it like playing for Jamaica?
It’s a great feeling representing your country and family and friends, a whole nation.
What about you would surprise people?
People who don’t know me think I always look angry and stuff. Once you get to know me, I could be a fun person to be around.
If it wasn’t football, what would you be doing?
It would always be football. I used to play cricket in primary school but it wasn’t something I loved.
How do you measure success?
I look at what I’ve achieved, then I look back on where I started and the stuff I had to go through, though I don’t dwell on the past.
What’s your vision for your sport?
I’d like to play in Europe somewhere, but I try to live in the moment. Still, I give thanks each and every day for where [Vancouver Whitecaps] I’m at now.
What’s your worst sporting moment?
Not winning the Manning Cup when I was at Kingston College, though I did win the Walker Cup and Champions Cup.
What’s your best sporting moment?
When I made my senior debut for the country.
What’s your favourite food?
Oxtail and beans with white rice.
Who is your favourite singer and what’s your favourite song?
My favourites are Jahmiel and, I’d say Jahshii. I can’t pick a song right now, it’s hard.
