St Mary teen charged with house breaking and larceny
ST MARY, Jamaica— A teenager has been charged with house breaking and larceny after he broke into a house in Oxford District in St Mary and stole cash and other valuables on Monday, May 9.
The accused is a 17-year-old boy of Oxford District in the parish.
Reports are that about 8:30 am, the complainant locked her house and left. When she returned home she saw the 17-year-old coming from her bedroom window holding something in front of him. The teen was apprehended and the stolen items seized.
The items stolen were J$3,500, a pair of black Clark’s shoes valued at J$16,000, Red Stripe beer valued at $300, six shirts, seven shorts, and a sweat suit.
A formal report was made to the police and the teen charged.
