KINGSTON, Jamaica – Patrons coming out for the annual Labour Day Gospel Concert (Monday, May 23) in Mandela Park, Half-Way-Tree Square, are being advised that limited secured parking will be available in Skateland parking lot (across from west entrance to Mandela Park) and the NCB parking lot at the corner of Hope Road and Spencer James Drive.

Given the limited parking, patrons who do not have to drive are being encouraged not to do so, and to instead use public transport.

The Labour Day concert, which will feature some of the country’s best gospel talent, will take place at Mandela Park, the site of the 2022 National Labour Day project. The concert will begin at 6:00 pm and will end at approximately 9:00 pm.

The annual concert was not held in 2020 and 2021 because of the ban on large gatherings that was in place to fight the spread of COVID-19.

Among those scheduled to perform at the concert this evening are: Minister Kukudoo, Sister Patt, Lubert Levy, Rian Davis, Johnmark, Flavia Beswick, Oshane Mais, Levy’s Heritage, Jody K and Minister Howdy.
