GRAMMY Award-winning dancehall artiste Sean Paul partnered with Port Royal Patties to launch his very own patty and pepper line called Scorcha, named after his latest album of the same name.

On Tuesday, Sean Paul took to Instagram to post a photo leaning against a Scorcha-branded patty truck, with the caption: “U want a #SCORCHA??? Come get ‘em Fresh + Hot!!!”

United Kingdom-based Port Royal Patties also made an IG post advertising the new product. The clip, which sees the Jamaican entertainer giving a fan one of the pastries, was captioned, “Sean Paul presents… The Scorcha Patty!! made by Port Royal! ever Blazing!! Available for a limited time only from the Yellow Patty Van.”

A Jamaican patty is a semi-circular pastry that contains various fillings and spices baked inside a flaky shell, often tinted golden-yellow with an egg yolk mixture or turmeric.

Port Royal is a Jamaican family-run business, founded by Kingstonian Edward Johnston, with the aim of sharing the heritage and food of his home to customers in the United Kingdom.

The product can be found in major supermarkets, independent stores, universities, school and leading Caribbean restaurants across the European country.

Scorcha, the album, is the entertainer’s eighth studio album that made its debut on May 27. The 16-track project was co-produced by Sean Paul’s brother Jason “Jigzag” Henriques. It features Pia Mia, Ty Dolla $ign, Jada Kingdom, Sia, Gwen Stefani, Shenseea, Tove Lo, Stylo G, Damian Marley, and Nicky Jam.

His seventh studio album, Live N Livin’, was nominated in the Best Reggae Album category at this year’s ceremony. Virgina-based reggae band SOJA walked away with the prize for Beauty In The Silence.
