Dancehall artiste Sean Paul scores a triple spin on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. In the latest tally, he has three entries.

At number nine is the EP Mad Love: The Prequel which was released by Island Records in June 2018.

Sean Paul has the number seven position with Dutty Rock, his 2003 Grammy-winning album which has sold more than 6,000,000 copies globally.

Dutty Classics Collection, a hits-laden set released by Rhino Entertainment in 2017, is at six. The set has been certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for sales exceeding 100,000 units.

Elsewhere on the Billboard reggae table, Bob Marley and the Wailers continue to dominate the number one spot with Legend, which is on top for 125 weeks.

Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy is at two, while World on Fire and Set in Stone by Stick Figure are three and four, respectively.

UB40’s Greatest Hits is down to five, while Gifted by Koffee slips to eight. Shenseea re-enters the chart at 10 with Alpha.

On the regional charts, Montego Bay-based singer Hezron holds firm at number one on the South Florida Reggae chart for a fourth week with Tik Tok, I’m Coming.

On the Foundation Radio Network (New York) Music Chart, Dear Mr. Government by Shuga is the top song.

Chart Flashback

This week, we flashback to 23 years ago. On the Billboard Reggae chart, dated June 5, 1999, the number one title was Reggae Gold 1999. The set features among other tracks Pull Up by Beres Hammond and Buju Banton, Don’t Haffi Dread by Morgan Heritage, Unfair by Zebra, and Heads High by Mr. Vegas.

The number two position was occupied by Beenie Man’s The Doctor, while Strictly the Best 31 was number three.

Everyone Falls in Love by Tanto Metro and Devonte was four, while Generation Coming by Third World was number eight.

The Best of Bob Marley was 101.
