Wanted man ‘Baboo’ nabbed in St James
ST JAMES, Jamaica— The Joint Anti-Gang Task Force on Saturday captured a man who was wanted for multiple offences by police in St James.
Reports are that the man, who has been identified as Terence Powell otherwise called ‘Baboo’, was held during a targeted operation in Granville, St James. Powell previously escaped police custody after being held for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
He was handed over to the Montego Bay Criminal Investigations Branch and is expected to be charged for shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
