Macka Diamond denies body surgery allegations in new song
Dancehall veteran Macka Diamond has denied allegations that she has undergone body surgery in a new track entitled, ‘Dream Body’.
According to Diamond, the allegations stem from a celebrity football match she participated in last month.
Following the football match, fellow artiste, D’Angel, who also participated in the sporting event, joked in a video that the 51-year-old Dye Dye hit maker may have had work done.
Diamond explained that she had once contemplated having breast enhancement surgery, however she has never actually gone under the knife.
“I’m flattered that people think I did surgery because when I see someone that looks good I usually wonder the same thing too. I’ve wanted to do my breasts for years but worry about getting older with obviously younger boobs so I haven’t done it,” Diamond said.
The artiste noted that she has no issues with anyone who has done surgery, adding that she believes D’Angel’s comments were really a compliment.
“The video came out a few days ago with Angel accusing me of doing my butt and shape. But this is my natural shape and bottom,” Diamond said.
“Even my mother at 70 still sexy same way,” she added.
Diamond noted that she is in full support of women who choose to go under the knife to improve their bodies, adding that it is a personal choice.
‘Dream Body’, in which Diamond tackles the allegations, is to be released on the new London Glow Caribbean Fusion rhythm produced by Trill City Global.
Diamond is also gearing up to perform the song at the upcoming New Rules concert at the National Stadium on July 2; this will be her first performance in Kingston since the start of the COVID pandemic.
