Despite heavy criticism from music pundits in the local dancehall sphere regarding the quality of his music, entertainer Skillibeng continues to make his ascension to the international market.

Following a sold-out UK tour in April, a brief appearance on the recently concluded Hot 97 Summer Jam, and a meeting with famed US producer DJ Khaled, the “Whap Whap” entertainer has been added to the lineup for the 2022 staging of Rolling Loud.

Set to be held in New York between September 23 through 25 at Citi Field in Queens, the popular international concert will see Jamaica represented twice as Skillibeng joins Shenseea on the show to be headlined by Nicki Minaj, Future and A$AP Rocky.

Skillibeng is set to perform on Friday, September 23. Nicki Minaj will be the main act for that night. Other artistes on the lineup for September 23 include Moneybagg Yo, Da Baby, Fivio Foreign, Lil Uzi Vert and G Herbo.

Shenseea is set to make her fourth Rolling Loud appearance on Saturday, September 24. A$AP Rocky will be the night’s main act. Shenseea will share the stage with the likes of Lil Baby, Busta Rhymes, Kevin Gates and Soulja Boy.

Tickets for Rolling Loud NY will go on sale starting this Friday, June 17.
