Break-in at May Pen Examination Depot
CLARENDON, Jamaica – The Island Traffic Authority (ITA) is advising that its May Pen Examination Depot is closed until further notice, due to a break-in resulting in damage to the property and several items being stolen.
The police and a technical team visited the Depot to assess the situation and work is being done to restore service shortly, the ITA said.
Individuals requiring the services of the May Pen Depot are asked to visit the Spanish Town, Mandeville, or the nearest depot.
People scheduled for testing during the period of closure are being asked to contact the ITA at 876-754-2814 or 876-754-2816.
ITA said that the Depot will reopen as soon as the issues are remedied and apologised for any inconvenience caused due to the closure.
