The streets of Kingston were transformed into a sea of colour yesterday, as feathered fêters took to the streets with their respective bands — Bacchanal and Xodus — in celebration of the final event of the Carnival seaon: The Road March.
And after a two-year hiatus, and month of preparation by revellers and organisers alike, the sweet sound of soca tunes blaring through the corporate area was music to every Carnival lovers ear.
