#World Champs: Seville misses podium finish in 100m Final
EUEGNE, Oregon- Jamaica’s lone competitor in the final of the men’s 100 metres, Oblique Seville, had to settle for a fourth place finish at the Oregon World Championships.
Seville, who carried the hopes of Jamaica on his shoulders, lined up against a stellar field to place fourth in the final. He produced another sub-10 performance of 9.97 seconds.
Meanwhile, Fred Kerley led an American 1-2-3 finish, as he stormed to a time of 9.86 seconds to claim the gold medal. Marvin Bracy finished second with a time of 9.88 seconds for silver, while Trayvon Bromell secured the bronze medal in 9.88 seconds.
