#World Champs: Thomas-Dodd places tenth in Shot Put Final
EUGENE, Oregon- 2019 World Championship silver medal winner, Danniel Thomas-Dodd has placed tenth in the final of the women’s shot put in Eugene, Oregon.
Thomas-Dodd advanced to the final of the event with the fifth farthest throw of 19.09 metres. However, she only managed to place tenth with a throw of 18.29 metres.
Meanwhile, Chase Ealy of America secured the gold with 20.49 metres, while Lijiao Gong of China produced a season’s best throw of 20.39 metres for silver. Jessica Schilder of the Netherlands claimed the bronze with a national record of 19.77 metres.
