Most Wanted Records launches dance challenge to promote new rhythm
With the release of its Inviting Riddim a matter of weeks away, Most Wanted Records have launched a dance event as part of their promotion.
The Inviting Riddim Dance Challenge gets underway on August 1 and ends September 30. It has two categories — an open segment and another where participants 13 years-old or younger are eligible.
Winners will be selected by a panel from Most Wanted Records based on accumulated views on social media.
“The objective is to bring more attention to the songs on the Inviting Riddim to be released soon and at the same time give children and adults a chance to win cash prizes and school supplies,” said Dewayne Taylor, head of Most Wanted Records.
For the children’s category, the winner is the first to draw 5,000 views by September 30. In the open section, the dancer with 15,000 views by that date is victorious.
Winner of the 13 and under category receives US$150 with runner-up getting school supplies. The open category has a winner’s prize of US$400 with school supplies for second.
In either category, participants will dance to one of three songs on the Inviting Riddim — Yam Head by Delomar, Party Tonite by Najgee and Big Big by Razor B.
Prospects for the Inviting Riddim Dance Challenge can contact Most Wanted Records at 876-448-0020 or email Mostwantedrecordsllc@gmail.com.
Formed in 2008, Most Wanted Records has offices in South Florida and Kingston. The label’s first project was the Pronutro Riddim which had songs by Vybz Kartel and Gage.
