Business social – August 3

The Business Social today brings you the sights and scenes from two recent events. The first is the Julian Dixon-led Jamaica Sotheby’s International Realty’s recent magazine launch. “It’s our first publication and we are celebrating also the fact that we are now expanding into Montego Bay and we are already ranked number three in the island for the highest dollar value in listings combined at just nine months into operation,” Dixon told the Jamaica Observer at the unveiling of its new magazine Live Jamaica on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the AC Hotel Rooftop Lounge.

Also enjoying the spotlight is the push to get more electric vehicles in Jamaica. Executives from the Jamaica Public Service (JPS), Texaco and Caribbean Broilers are delighted at the ribbon-cutting of the 8th Charge ‘n Go Electric Vehicle Charging Station at the New Kingston Texaco station.

Hilarious! JPS Senior vice-president for Generation Joseph Williams and director of revenue Security Rasheed Anderson enjoy a hilarious moment at the commissioning of the 8th Electric Vehicle Charging Station in the JPS Charge ‘n Go network, located at Texaco Trafalgar Road.
JPS marketing manager, Andre Mangue and director of corporate communications, Winsome Callum discuss the finer points of electric vehicle charging at the newest electric vehicle charging station in the JPS Charge ‘n Go network, located at Texaco on Trafalgar Road, New Kingston.
JPS Media and PR Manager Audrey Williams (right) and emcee of the evening Debbie Bissoon take time out for a quick snap to celebrate the commissioning of the 8th Electric Vehicle Charging Station in the JPS Charge ‘n Go network at Texaco on Trafalgar Road, New Kingston.
