Today’s Horoscope – August 6

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Saturday, Aug 6, 2022. We get a bit of a break from the turbulent cosmic weather, allowing us to regroup. With the emphasis on joy and optimism today, we’re encouraged to get involved with tasks and activities that remind us there’s still much to enjoy and many good things to experience. We’ll just need to be intentional about who we connect with today, making sure to steer clear of anyone with a Debbie Downer vibe. Additionally, we may need to be mindful of raining on someone else’s parade. The focus on fun helps us avoid overanalysing and getting stuck on the negative.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19) — You need to step away from your to-do list for a little while. Ride a bike. Take a walk. Go do a little sightseeing.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20) — Some faith is needed in making a decision today. Consider it a calculated risk.

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20) — If you’re feeling lonely or bored, reach out to someone you enjoy being around. They’ll be happy to hear from you.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22) — Try not to put pressure on yourself by thinking you need to have all the answers or have everything figured out. Learning is part of the journey.

LEO (July 23 to Aug 22) — Don’t get caught up spending money you don’t really have right now. There are other ways that you can entertain yourself.

VIRGO (Aug 23 to Sept 22) — Being behind the scenes and laying low feels easier to do than being in the mix with everyone else today. Give yourself a break.

LIBRA (Sept 23 to Oct 22) — It’s hard to relax or quiet your mind today. Having a chat with someone funny, wise or inspiring can be calming.

SCORPIO (Oct 23 to Nov 21) — You might be tempted to argue with people about your values or convictions. Is it really worth the stress right now?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 to Dec 21) — You need something to help take your mind off work. Plan yourself a fun day or throw yourself into a relaxing creative hobby. Make playtime the focus.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 to Jan 19) — You might be feeling seriously unfocused today. It’s a sign that you need to step back and rest.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 to Feb 18) — Don’t sit and stew on something you’re upset about. A friend wants to hear what you have to say. Talk to them. You’ll feel better.

PISCES (Feb 19 to March 20) — Take criticism with a grain of salt today. You know what feels right for you. Keep trusting that instinct.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You’re quick-witted and love to learn. You enjoy doing things independently or with people who can hold a thoughtful conversation. Traveling and exploring feel best to you, rather than being stuck in one place. At times, you can overthink things, but the care you put into decision-making helps you to make wise choices. You speak from the heart. People appreciate your tell-it-like-it-is approach. If there’s anyone who can make their dreams come true, it’s you. You possess the vision and the know-how to succeed. This year, your passion is louder than any self-doubt you might have — listen to it.

Birthdate of: Michelle Yeoh, actress; Leslie Odom Jr, actor/singer; M Night Shyamalan, film-maker/screenwriter.
