‘Hook Slaya’ releases ‘Riddim Club’
RIDDIM Club Masters EP, the latest project from US-based artiste/producer BL Tha Hook Slaya, was released on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The 13-song set bears the producer’s Vydia Hook Records imprint.
“I am so excited about the entire project because so much hard work was been done to fine-tune the production. Sometimes you feel something else needed to be done to make it perfect,” he said.
“I must also thank the artistes who went beyond the call of duty, as one would say, and put in their best to make this EP universal. The variety of songs have very interesting themes which include upliftment and address certain issues which are important,” he continued.
Riddim Club Masters EP includes: Come Back Again by Spice and BL Tha Hook Slaya; Mountain Peak (Sizzla and Capleton); Dior Kicks (Tommy Lee Sparta); Blame On Me (Beenie Man and BL Tha Hook Slaya); For Dem (Elephant Man, BL Tha Hook Slaya); and, Upload (Jah Thunder).
Born Bryan Lamontagne, BL Tha Hook Slaya grew up in Boston, United States. He released his first song, Falling In Love by Luny Tunes and Mas Flow Camp, on his Mountain Entertainment Group LLC label in 2004.
Three years later he produced Armant Van Helden’s Touch Your Toes, a Billboard single by American rapper Fat Joe and himself.
