Yes, dancehall-themed parties are a thing. But, would we really have seen it all without one from the reigning queen of dancehall?

As a brand-new season of VH1‘s Love & Hip Hop returns, megastar Grace “Spice” Hamilton, who returns to season 11, which premiered on August 8, 2022, hosted a dancehall-themed party in Montego Bay which served as a part of her birthday celebration as well as a segment of the reality TV show.

And what better way to celebrate, when your birthday falls on Independence Day, August 6, than having a culturally appropriate curated soirée?

Hamilton and her fellow Love & Hip Hop cast members didn’t hold back as they turned heads in looks from popular local clothing store LOUD Fashion and Sexy Garments.

On her Instagram page, with a carousel of highly influenced dancehall photos, the artiste shared, “Love & Hip Hop is taking over Jamaica, so it was only right we had a dancehall theme party. I’m really happy to see all my friends representing my culture. Dancehall cya stall.”
