Leave WhatsApp group silently

Meta, the owners of WhatsApp have put an end to the embarrassment many feel when wanting to leave a group chat.

The key takeaways from the latest announcement is that WhatsApp gives you more control with added layers of protection.

You’ll be able to leave group messages without notifying everyone, choose who can see when you’re online, and prevent screenshots on view once messages.

According to Meta, “Now, instead of notifying the full group when you are leaving, only the admins will be notified. This feature will start to roll out to all users this month.”
