The Business Social this week highlights the British High Commissioner to Jamaica Judith Slater hosting a soft launch of Bamboo Bioproducts International and after-work cocktail party at the British High Commission office on Trafalgar Road in St Andrew on Wednesday, September 7.

Bamboo Bioproducts International is expected to cultivate in excess of 25,000 acres of farmlands in Westmoreland for the production of bamboo pulp as part of an approximately US$400-million investment in that parish.
