Dark Room by Shane O is the new number one song in the Cayman Islands. The song topped the Hot 104.1 FM chart ahead of its competitors — Moment by Masicka and Stefflon Don (number two), Sugar Cake by Patrice Roberts (number three), and Sorry to Hurt Your Feelings by Marion Hall (number four).

DJ Khaled’s These Streets Know My Name which features Sizzla, Capleton, Buju Banton, and Bounty Killer is number five.

This isn’t the first time that Shane O has earned a chart-topping hit. His previous hits include Lightning Flash, A Mill Fi Share, and Partner Draw.

Dark Room is produced by HR Records and was released in January. A remix featuring Chronic Law was released in July.

Shane O, whose real name is Roshain Orlando McDonald, emerged on the music scene while still attending Kingston Technical High in 2005. He scored a hit from the Applause rhythm titled Lightning Flash, produced by Rohan “Jah Snowcone” Fuller.

On the South Florida Reggae chart, Reverse the Curse by Richie Stephens is number one, while Kingston Traffic by Naomi Cowan sees an uptick, moving from 13 to 11.

Zanadu’s I Care About You takes over the number one spot on the Foundation Radio Network (New York) Reggae chart.

Missing You by Sun Shade bolts from 13 to 10, while Always and Forever by veteran singer Leroy Smart skips from 16 to 13.

Mikey General is up three places to 20 with Loyalty, while Playing Games by Terry Linen, and Christopher Martin’s Guaranteed are new entries at 29 and 30, respectively.

In Canada, the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart is reporting that Rocket Blasta by Belinda Brady, Trust, and Nico is the new number one song.

Blessings a Flow by Jah Lex and Busy Signal is number five, while Count on Me (remix) by Ammoye and Natural High Music is six.

Single Girl Blues by second-generation Jamaicans Blk Orchid and Empress Divine is at eight.

On the streaming and sales-driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Bob Marley and the weeks spend 140 weeks at the top with Legend.

Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection is at two, while Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection is steady at three.

UB40’s Greatest Hits is four, while Stick Figure pulls a double as World on Fire and Set in Stone are five and six, respectively.

Koffee’s Gifted rises two places to seven and Outside by Burna Boy is up to number eight.

Time Bomb by Iration re-enters at nine, while Welcome to Jamrock, the Grammy award-winning and gold-certified album by Damian “Junior Gong” Marley is back on the chart, at 10.
