Trough expected to bring afternoon showers
KINGSTON, Jamaica – It is expected to be a wet Sunday afternoon.
The Meteorological Service has advised that a trough across the island is expected to remain until Monday night.
On Sunday afternoon, it is expected to become mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes.
Lingering showers and thunderstorms – mainly across sections of southern and northwestern parishes – are expected Sunday night.
A small craft warning is in effect for offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.
