Big changes to Windows 11
Some new tricks are coming to Windows 11 and Panos Panay, Microsoft’s chief product officer of Windows and Devices, said that the update is designed to make our PCs “easier and safer to use”.
People with Windows 11 and Windows 10 can install this new update for free. Here’s what you should know about how Windows 11 is changing.
Systemwide live captions – videos, podcasts, live radio streams
Customisable Start menu – You’ll be able to tell Windows which you’d like to see more of.
Voice control for your PC – Voice Access helps people control their computers with spoken words, not keystrokes or mouse clicks.
New touch gestures – Swipe up to open the Start menu and get around Windows a little faster.
Built-in camera effects – You can use new “studio” effects to customise your look on video calls and streams.
