Skeng to blaze a fyah in Mandeville
STAGE show Fyah In Da Ville returns to Pub 75 in Mandeville on November 5, after a two-year break which was caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic.
This year’s staging will be headlined by dancehall ‘hot boy’ Skeng.
“Choosing Skeng as our headline act for this year’s staging of the event was a total no-brainer. He’s one of the hottest acts in dancehall music right now. Over the years, our patrons have become accustomed to seeing some of the hottest acts in the business and we did not plan to disappoint them this year,” said Princess Taylor, promoter of the event.
The line-up also includes Munga Honorable, Lisa Hyper, Ffurious, Chappzs, Gabbidon, DC Stuban, Qban, and Supreem.
“This is our first staging in two years, and we plan to make it bigger and better in every possible way. With each staging we strive to give our patrons an unforgettable entertainment experience and this year we’re going to turn things up,” she said.
She also revealed that there will be a special surprise guest artiste for this year’s staging of the event.
“We’re going to have a special guest artiste this year. I can’t say much about this because we must keep the identity of the artiste a secret until the night of the event. All I can say right now is that this artiste is one of the biggest acts in dancehall music,” Taylor added.
Since its inaugural staging at Georges Valley in Manchester in 2016, the event has showcased several popular dancehall acts including Capleton, Macka Diamond, Rygin King, Munga Honorable and the recently deceased Merciless.
