The Rock’s business titans converged on the Grand Jamaica Suite at Jamaica Pegasus hotel last Saturday evening for the 5th annual Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) M&E Awards in association with VM Group. The mission: ‘Re-igniting Jamaica for greatness’ dressed to the nines in formalwear from local designers. And some did answer the call, donning pieces from local designers that gave them a leg up on the competition for the coveted ‘Best-Dressed’ prize.

Guests were fêted with a five-course dinner, cocktails from the Red Stripe and Appleton Estate bar, entertainment by Jamaica’s First Lady of Jazz Myrna Hague, a silent auction of local products, and enviable gate prizes.
