Boy hospitalised after falling from school building
A student of the Windward Road Primary School in east Kingston was hospitalised on Wednesday after he fell from a building at the institution.
The Jamaica Observer understands that the grade four student was allegedly in a rush to get to the ground floor before other students and decided to slide down a rail, which caused him to fall over.
Neither the school’s administrators nor the Kingston East Police Division, which has jurisdiction for Windward Road, could provide details about the incident up to press time. However, sources said that counselling had been organised for students who witnessed the incident.
