Two dead, several injured in St Ann crash
ST ANN, JAMAICA— At least two people are dead following a motor vehicle crash along the border of St Ann and Trelawny on Saturday morning.
Several others are said to be hospitalised.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been ascertained.
It is reported that the two-vehicle collision involved a coaster bus transporting hotel staff and a truck.
Police say that around 6:00 am, the bus, which was heading towards Trelawny, collided with the truck.
An eyewitness described the crash scene as a “terrible sight”.
“This is a wicked, wicked crash me nah lie. Early, early morning too. Bwoy it just sad say smaddy can just lose them life just like that you know,” he said.
