A friend of Thomas described him as jovial and focused.
“Very jovial, kind and hard-working youth. Never in the mix, always focused on pushing his younger brother’s music and stuff, a very humble soul,” he said.
He said the family and friends will find it hard to recover from the news.
Meanwhile, a coworker of the men said while they were not close, they seemed to be good individuals.
“They both work in the housekeeping department. Reece is a public area attendant and Mikel is the housekeeping admin. Reece was hardworking and jovial, serious sometimes but once he started to smile it was everything. Mikel was drama, he would answer the phone and say thank you for the best department, how may I help,” she said.
She said most of those injured would have been a part of the company’s breakfast team.
