Masks galore!
United Way of Jamaica and 3M Jamaica delivered over 30,000 masks to four health-care facilities recently. Here at left, United Way of Jamaica’s board member Dr Paulette Griffiths and board chair Chorvelle Johnson Cunningham (second left) are joined by (from left) regional director at SERHA Errol Greene; Natalie Robinson, country leader at 3M Jamaica; and Jacqueline Ellis, CEO at the Spanish Town Hospital. The cohort was hosted at the SERHA executive office for the official handover of 30,600 tie-on surgical masks, valued at approximately $1.4 million, donated by 3M Jamaica through the United Way of Jamaica.
In addition to the Spanish Town Hospital, the Bustamante Hospital for Children, the Glen Vincent Health Centre, and the Comprehensive Health Centre will also benefit.
