Two dead after train derails in St Ann
ST ANN, Jamaica – The St Ann police are reporting that two people are dead after a bauxite train derailed in Retreat on Sunday night.
The deceased have not yet been identified by name but they are said to be the operator of the train and a security guard.
Police said the incident took place around 10:00 pm.
It’s reported that firefighters had to be called to the scene.
The operator and the security guard were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
