Brazilian striker gains four million social media followers after World Cup wonder goal
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil forward, Richarlison de Andrade, made headlines as he scored arguably the goal of the tournament against a strong Serbia side in their Group H opener yesterday.
The amazing scissor-kick goal came in the 73rd minute and was Richarlison’s second after capitalising on a rebound from Vinicius Jr shot in the 62nd minute.
Richarlison, amazingly, managed to amass an astounding four million followers in the past 24 hours on the Internet.
In an Instagram post the forward compared practice footage with the actual goal, as he commented on the importance of practice.
“The poet would say: practice is practice; game is game,’ said the 25-year-old.
