Mr Make it Happen aka Phillip “PP” Palmer, Scott Dunn, and their team threw down the gauntlet Saturday night as the much-anticipated Mega Yush not only declared the holiday party season officially open, but in one fell swoop elevated the narrative around the party experience.

Drawing from, Page 2 reckons, the Cricket World Cup blueprint, a schedule allowed patrons the ability to gauge their arrival. As a result, parking was pretty seamless and security vigilant.

Deejays Richie Feelings, Coppershot, Kurt Riley, and Then & Now kept the mood in step with the vibe, and headliners Ashanti and Ja Rule delivered a credible set.

Page 2 was in the crease at Sabina Park.

No better song perhaps captures the magic that is Ja Rule and Ashanti than their 2002 hit Mesmerize, which was the perfect way to launch their nostalgic performance at Mega Yush. (Photo: Garfield Robinson)
