Mount Pleasant FA move into Premier League 4th place
ST ANN, Jamaica —Mount Pleasant FA moved into fourth place in the Jamaica Premier League after beating Tivoli Gardens 3-1 in a rescheduled game played at Drax Hall on Wednesday.
The win, Mt Pleasant FA’s second, and which extended their unbeaten run to four games, took them to eight points, two less than joint leaders Harbour View and Montego Bay United and one less than third placed Cavalier FC.
Mt Pleasant FA led 2-0 at half time with goals from Ricardo Morris in the 25th minute and Andre Fletcher in the 37th minute.
Diego McKenzie pulled a goal back for Tivoli Gardens in the 49th minute before Demario Philips responded two minutes later to restore the home team’s two-goal advantage.
