BIZcare to spread love on Saturday
‘Spread Love This Christmas at Funfest’, a charity event aimed at raising funds for needy students, will take place Saturday at Middlesex Football Stadium in May Pen, Clarendon. It will be staged by BIZcare Foundation, a company operated by Kmar Henry and Sheryl Bailey.
Valiant, arguably one of dancehall’s current leading lights, Inpha Reblitive and musician Ashir Di Guitarist will all be part of the entertainment package.
Funds from the day-long show will go to assisting students who live in May Pen and surrounding communities.
“This fund-raiser plays an instrumental role in us creating opportunities for at-risk youths. We want to be able to equip them with the necessary resources to go to school and to learn,” said Henry.
Bailey added, “This event will provide a wholesome family experience for all.”
Snaring Valiant is a coup for organisers. The deejay is from the Mannings Hill community of St Andrew, his stocks have risen on the strength of songs like Dunce Cheque, St Mary, and Siance.
Spread Love This Christmas At Funfest will be among several entertainment charity and goodwill events held across Jamaica during the Christmas season. Ghetto Splash, one of the biggest, will take place December 20 at Waterhouse Mini Stadium.
