The Regency Room Reopens

The Regency Room, Kingston’s most elegant dining room, reopened Thursday last for dinner. The award-winning establishment located at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel offers the regal white-glove and silver service that many have come to expect and enjoy on those very special occasions.

Expect those fave menu options like escargot, lobster thermidor, stuffed crab back, mussels and chateaubriand. Be surprised but heartened by the vegetarian options like Scotch bonnet polenta, the Terra Nova Thali and the Mushroom and Spinach Risotto and do leave space for the classics like flamed Crème Brûlée, Baked Alaska (for two) and the Hampden Rum Cake.

The wine list is pretty comprehensive and there’s Champagne too, but the cocktails like the Regency French 75, the fresh lemon drop mocktail and Hampden Sour are an absolute must.
