ST JAMES, Jamaica – Reggae Youths rebounded from their draw against Granville United to hammer hapless Montego Bay Boys Club 5-1 in their return round game played at the UDC Field on Tuesday.

After a sluggish first hour, Reggae Youths scored three times in the last 25 minutes as they beat Boys Club for the second time in the season and moved within a win of securing a semi-final spot.

In another game played Tuesday, Flankers FC and Cambridge FC played out a 1-1 draw at Flankers, the second time the teams were sharing points this season after they drew 2-2 in the first round.

At the UDC Field, Ryan Clarke in the 28th minute and Sachin Wilmott in the 36th minute, gave Reggae Youths a 2-0 lead over Boys Club who started the game with just nine players.

Orlando Reid pulled a goal back for Boys Club in the 47th minute and threatened to draw level but Reggae Youths restored their two goals lead in the 65th minute through Wayne Wallace, while Chadane Blagrove added another in the 69th minute and Thomas Scott who hit the crossbar earlier in the half from inside the six yards box after the goalkeeper was beaten, added a fifth in the 75th minute.

At Flanker, Cambridge FC led after the 17th minute, but Danique Clarke scored a late goal in the 82nd minute to salvage a point for the home team.
