Kyzani does it for the ladies
Like a modern-day Shakespeare, fast rising New York-based singer Kyzani is taking aim at females with his vocal charisma and charm, mixed with sugar coated lyrics.
His latest single ‘Ride’, which was released on December 7 and produced by Zani Records, is a continuation of his dedication and devotion to the ladies.
“Too much badness and choppa songs are taking over, so there has to be someone to cater to the ladies and that’s me. At this time of the year, the ladies appreciate something smooth and nice that they can whine and get on bad to. Unlike Dexta Daps, there aren’t many artistes who are solely representing for the females,” said Kyzani.
‘Ride’ is already creating a buzz within the New York area and Kyzani is confident that it will open doors for his career.
“I have a desire to go international with my music, because I look up to a lot of artistes such as The Weeknd, who are an inspiration to me. I want to travel the world and unleash great music to people who appreciate and love real authentic talent,” Kyzani reasoned.
He continued, “Ladies love songs that they can vibe to, if the females don’t give your song the stamp of approval it may fall by the wayside. Ladies appreciate songs that they can look pretty and sexy to and this song Ride is perfect for that.”
Originally from east Kingston, Kyzani (real name Latony Sinclair) always had a passion for music. A former student of the Charlemont High school in St Catherine, he led the school’s choir achieved to victory having achieved several gold medals in various JCDC [Jamaica Cultural Development Commission] Festival competitions.
Said Kyzani, “My journey has been a rocky one because the industry is a tough and challenging one and some of the people who hold certain positions are very unfair and spiteful so unfortunately without the finances, you won’t get far. Having the financial backing is the gasoline for your music to get to where you want it to go.”
