Rion Venicci launches ‘Patient’ EP
Dancehall artiste Rion Venicci recently launched his seven-song EP titled Patient.
The launch, which was attended by several media and entertainment personalities, was held on December 16 at the 420 Lounge in Kingston.
“The launch of the EP was well attended and I’m grateful to everyone who came out and gave me their support. I’m also very thankful to my management team at DMG Entertainment Records. They went all out to make sure the launch was a success. My career is in good hands. DMG for life,” said Rion Venicci.
Patient features the title track as well as ‘Reebok Classic x Polo’, ‘True Love’ featuring Robert Minott, ‘Voice Note’ (Pick Up the Phone), ‘Big Dreams Freestyle’, ‘Mansa Musa’ and ‘Something to Lose’.
It was produced by Lisa Acosta for DMG Entertainment Records.
The launch featured performances by Shakespeare, Energy, Cool Kid, Get There Squad, Leopard, Repptyle, Guzman, and 16Camp.
“We had a great time at the launch. It’s such a nice feeling to receive so much support from my friends and colleagues,” Rion Venicci added.
The Old Harbour-based deejay, whose real name is Ryon Rohan Ranger, has released songs including Ketch E Bounce and Blessings.
The EP Patient is to be released on January 6.
