‘Hardwine’ was a sure hit
BILLED as the ultimate soca experience, ‘Hardwine’ delivered the goods last Friday night at Mas Camp in St Andrew.
An added attraction was the surprise performances by red-hot newcomer Nadg and Laa Lee.
Marlon Thompson, a director for Hardwine, was pleased with this staging.
“It was an amazing experience. The patrons came out in overwhelming numbers and their energy didn’t wane, even when we had to call it a night. The DJs held up their task of keeping them fuelled with high-energy music and vibes all night. In all, it exceeded our imaginations and we really owe it all to our patrons. The team is already focused on how we can possibly make our next staging even better for them,” said Thompson.
The DJs served up a delicious brew of some of the latest and recent soca hits that had patrons dancing up a storm.
“We believe the patrons had a great time all night but they were especially thrilled with the performances form Nadg and Laa Lee. The DJs did an excellent job. They took us through the former years of soca hits all the way into the new releases for 2023. There was also a healthy mix of dancehall hits to spice up the night,” said Thompson.
DJ Lantern MD, DJ Smoke, DJ Cyclone and Witty Blacks, DJ Kurt Riley, Matt Camps, and Bloodline Franco were the DJs responsible for the musical mayhem.
“We always try to go the extra mile for our patrons, and we thought thrilling them with these amazing performances was the way to go. Nadg had the crowd bouncing to his hit We a Run Di Grung as if they rehearsed it all week, and Laa Lee extended dancing class with his many hits. They perfectly added to the high-energy fun experience that Hardwine strives to create,” Thompson disclosed.
The next staging of Hardwine is scheduled for July 1.
