KINGSTON, Jamaica – Arnett Gardens FC had their winning run stopped at six games after struggling Montego Bay United came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw in their return round Jamaica Premier League game played at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Sunday.

Veteran striker Allan Ottey earned his team a point, in their third straight drawn game, when he scored in the 55th minute after Jaheim Thomas gave Arnett the lead in the 16th minute of what appeared then to be a walk over.

Montego Bay United are undefeated against Arnett Gardens this season after coming from behind to beat them 2-1 in the first round game played in Montego Bay.

The point saw Arnett Gardens take over the lead with 37 points, one point more than Mt Pleasant FA who are sitting out this round of matches.

Cavalier FC beat Dunbeholden FC for a second time this season, winning 3-1 on Sunday but finished the game with nine players after two were sent off as well as one from Dunbeholden.

Cavalier raced into a 2-0 lead with goals in the 16th and 17th minutes from Omario Henry who got a double and Ronaldo Robinson respectively. Steven Barnett cut the deficit for Dunbeholden in the 33rd minute before Henry added a third in time added on at the end of the second half.

Waterhouse FC won back-to-back games after coming from behind to beat Chapleton Maroons 3-2 led by a second half double from Shaquiel Bradford. Kristoff Graham gave Chapleton the lead after 20 minutes and led at half time but two goals in the 64th minute saw Waterhouse take the lead, first from Bradford and then an own goal.

Bradford added his second and the team’s third in the 74th minute but Chapleton pulled one back in the 83rd from Alex Gayle.

MeanTivoli Gardens and Faulkland FC drew for the second time this season after drawing 0-0 following a 2-2 scoreline in the first round.
