Today’s Horoscope – April 28

Happy birthday for Friday, April 28, 2023. Since emotional drama and attention-grabbing behavior can be an issue today, we may need to be mindful of letting pride or our ego get the better of ourselves. With Mercury in retrograde, it can help to think before we speak. Being patient and objective can help us with addressing problems and avoiding impulsive decisions. Though, as eclipse season continues to bring change to our life, we should be open to doing things differently than we have in the past. It’s a good day for engaging with our creative energy or doing something bold or exciting.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19) – Beware the itch to shop today, as you could pay more than necessary or wind up with buyer’s remorse. Research the item or brand you want to buy.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20) – You could be dealing with some increased moodiness or anxiety. How can you best prioritize your well-being today?

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20) – It might be a good idea to put more thought into what you post or share with others. Not everything is for public consumption or discussion.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22) – Don’t betray yourself to fit in with the cool crowd or to create a temporary sense of belonging. Sometimes it’s better to go your own way.

LEO (July 23 to Aug. 22) – You may not be super confident in your skills or abilities right now. Don’t overthink it. Your track record speaks for itself.

VIRGO (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) – A potential opportunity might not be the right fit for you. Try not to worry about it, because there will be others.

LIBRA (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) – Avoid catastrophizing about the future or thinking too much about outcomes. Stay positive and give yourself other things to focus on.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) – You might be thinking about ending or leaving a partnership. Consider negotiating for what you want first. If it’s a dead end, don’t be afraid to let go.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) – If you’re feeling overwhelmed, ask for help. Perhaps you need to redistribute your workload or request an extended deadline.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) – You might be feeling stressed today. If so, be wary of seeking out a quick fix for what you’re feeling. Make healthy choices.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) – Someone might have a way of getting under your skin, especially if you’re related. Don’t let them rob you of your joy. Being with folks who make you laugh can help.

PISCES (Feb. 19 to March 20) – Things may not go according to plan today, so be flexible. Try to stay grounded.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

Although you can be friendly and cooperative, you live life on your terms. You have a strong sense of self. You have no problem speaking your mind. You’re creative and perceptive. You tend to view and approach the world very differently from others, which makes you quite the trailblazer. There are times when you might get a little too in your head, but whenever you put your mind to something, you often achieve great things. This year, you may be ready for a fresh start or more heart-fulfilling experiences.

Birthdate of: Melanie Martinez, singer-songwriter; Drew and Jonathan Scott, television personalities; Too Short, rapper/record producer.
