Maldon, Green Pond U–13s battle at Wespow Park
Maldon Primary and Green Pond Primary, winners in their opening games of the St James Football Association VM Foundation Uplift Under-13 competition, will meet in a Zone C game at Wespow Park on Monday at 11:15 am.
They share the lead in the zone with Barracks Road Primary, who will play Albion Primary in the first game of the triple-header, while Chetwood Primary and Adelphi will meet in the third game.
Maldon Primary opened their season with a 2-1 win over Adelphi last week, while Green Pond edged Albion Primary in their game.
Barracks Road, whose only hold on the trophy came 31 years ago in 1992, are expected to stay at the top of the table after today’s game as they will face Albion.
Barracks Road opened the season with a 5-0 win over Chetwood Primary, who will be seeking their first win today.
