Singer Daniel Caesar debuts on two Billboard charts this week. Let Me Go enters the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at #50, while Always blasts onto Hot Adult R&B Airplay chart at #29.

Caesar, who was born in Scarborough, Toronto, is of Bajan and Jamaican heritage.

He has collaborated with Jamaican producer Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor and reggae artiste Koffee.

Both Let Me Go and Always are featured on Daniel’s third studio album Never Enough, which was released April 7 via Republic Records.

Let Me Go has another Jamaican influence. It was co-produced by Rupert “Sevn” Thomas Jr, who was also born in Scarborough, Toronto. His parents are Jamaicans, while his uncle is former dancehall deejay “Rappa Robert” of the duo Tippa Lee and Rappa Robert.

Tippa Lee and Rappa Robert scored a major hit locally in 1989 with the Red Man International produced song No Trouble We. The song went to #1 on the JBC Radio top 30 chart.

Over to the streaming and sales-driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Ghanian Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste Stonebwoy makes his debut at number eight with 5th Dimension, his fifth studio album, which was released April 28 via Universal Music/Def Jam Recordings. It has 17 tracks, including collaborations with Jamaican artistes Shaggy and Dexta Daps.

Bob Marley and the Wailers continue to rule the roost on the chart with Legend clocking 173 non-consecutive weeks in the #1 spot.

Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection holds down the #2 position with Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection clinging to #3.

Greatest Hits by UB40 inches up to four, while Stick Figure’s Wisdom climbs two places to #5. The group occupies #6 and #7 with World on Fire and Set in Stone.

Backyard Sessions: Malibu Edition by Iration re-enters at #9, so too Damian “Jr Gong” Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock at #10.

Beautiful Day by Jermaine Edwards, featuring Prinz and Rushawn, continues to make moves on the Billboard Gospel charts. On Hot Gospel Songs it backtracks from 21 to 20, having peaked at #7 just 12 weeks ago.

It slid down two places from 10 to 12 on Gospel Digital Song Sales chart, where it rose to #2 almost four months ago.

Highway to Heaven by Carlene Davis spends a second week at the top of the South Florida Reggae chart.

On the New York Reggae chart, Desperate Lover by Tarrus Riley is #1 for a fourth week.
