Two men charged after Seaview Gardens gun attack
ST ANDREW, Jamaica – Two men were charged with shooting with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition and misprison of a felony following an incident on Red Sea Drive, Seaview Gardens in St Andrew on March 23.
Charged are 23-year-old Aaron McLeod of Seaview Gardens, Phase 2 and a 17-year-old boy of the same community.
Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that about 10:00 pm, McLeod and the teen were among a group of men who opened gunfire at the complainants. The complainants managed to escape unhurt.
A report was made to the police and the accused men were taken into custody by their attorneys and subsequently charged following a question-and-answer interview.
Lawmen have launched a manhunt in search of the other suspects, pending further investigations.
