Today’s Horoscope – May 11

Happy birthday for Thursday, May 11, 2023. The focus turns toward community, friendship and our hopes and wishes for the future. However, with Mercury retrograde still scrambling our signals, we might find it hard to get on the same page with folks today. It also might be difficult to map out plans or decide the next steps to take. The best way to handle any confusion or frustration that arises is to be patient, remain objective and practise effective communication. Keeping ourselves busy with small or routine tasks might be more productive and less stressful than trying to accomplish anything bigger or more involved.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19) — Not everyone has to agree with you or do things exactly the way you do. Allow room for differences.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20) — It may be helpful to check in with others (or your team) for input or feedback before making a big decision. They may have info or a perspective that you could use.

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20) — You may have some opinions that are best left off social media or kept to yourself for now. Too, be mindful of making plans or promises with no follow-through.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22) — You could have a misunderstanding with a friend. An honest and straightforward conversation could help smooth things over. A little objectivity could also defuse tensions.

LEO (July 23 to Aug 22) — Sometimes, no matter how well you do something or how giving you are, there will still be people who find fault with it. Don’t take it personally.

VIRGO (Aug 23 to Sept 22) — You might be feeling stretched thin, or perhaps you’re feeling uncertain about which way to go next. Seek out support or trusted advice.

LIBRA (Sept 23 to Oct 22) — Avoid rushing into anything. Take your time. Formulate a plan.

SCORPIO (Oct 23 to Nov 21) — Don’t let anyone rattle your confidence or leave you second-guessing yourself. Stay true to who you are.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 to Dec 21) — There’s only but so much time in the day. Be realistic about how much you can actually accomplish. There’s no shame in scaling down or acknowledging your limitations.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 to Jan 19) — Yes, that creative idea you’ve got is a good one. No need to rush, though. You’ve got plenty of time.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 to Feb 18) — It might not be worth it to get involved in family drama. Choose a different option. Meanwhile, you may need to take care of some home-related repairs.

PISCES (Feb 19 to March 20) — If you’re stuck worrying about things that are beyond your control, try to reframe your thoughts. What can you do within your power right now?

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You have a love for learning. You’re always soaking up as much information as you can. Although there may be times when you feel conflicted between following your head and listening to your heart, you don’t make decisions haphazardly. You’re self-reflective and give a lot of thought to what you say and do. You just need to learn to trust your instincts more. You’re an excellent problem-solver, and you have a beautiful way with words. With your kind of brain power, you can accomplish much. This year, you could receive serious recognition for your hard work and contributions.

Birthdate of: Tim Blake Nelson, actor/playwright; Jeffrey Donovan, actor; Lana Condor, actress.
