Construction worker gunned down in Hanover

Construction worker gunned down in Hanover

HANOVER, Jamaica – The Hanover police are probing the death of a construction worker who was fatally shot on a work site in the parish Friday afternoon.

The police have not yet released the identity of the deceased.

Preliminary reports are that about 12:30 pm, the construction worker was on the job when explosions were heard.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the construction worker was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On Sunday gunmen also struck in the Hopewell community leaving two women dead.
