Fusion recording artiste Yaksta steps into a new musical realm for a new song titled I Will Never (Tribal Future House remix), which sees him collaborating with house music producer Alexx Antaeus.

The song, which was released on Friday via Monom Records, is the second collaboration between Yaksta and the internationally renowned producer, who has worked with the likes of Julian Marley, Rolling Stones, Earth Wind & Fire, and others.

“The experience working with Alexx was a lot of fun. He has a lot of ideas and he’s a man who is very passionate and stern about his work. It’s a magical moment when we’re creating with Alexx,” Yaksta disclosed in an interview with the Jamaica Observer on Thursday.

I Will Never is an exotic blend of hypnotic European dance grooves with fiery Caribbean vocals.

Antaeus provides a pulsating house rhythm for Yaksta to express his infinite defiance in the face of all things evil.

Yaksta sings: “I will never, I will never give the devil control of my soul. I will never, I will never walk away with demons on my throne.”

The official video for I Will Never (Tribal Future House Remix), which was directed by Damanic Visualz, was also released on Friday.

Yaksta explained his foray into house music.

“House music is always about dancing and vibes. I wanted it to be spiritual,” said Yaksta.

He continued, “Alexx has been a long-time friend, even before my breakout. With this new essence of sound and fast tempo I definitely believe this can be a banger. Future bass is the present and future of house music.”

The two have previously collaborated on Soul Dancer and an earlier version of I Will Never, both of which were included on Antaeus’s 2021 EP titled Chromasounds. This new rendition of I Will Never demonstrates the evolution in the creative relationship.
