Krush Flo and Rajah Wild score with El Fuego
Since his entry onto the musical radar, roughly two years ago, deejay Rajah Wild has built up a solid fan base. Songs such as Don’t Worry, Powder, All Night, Dunce Bat, Sin Out, Sinna Fi Real, and his biggest hit to date, Another Dollar, have kept him trending on social media.
The Spanish Town-born deejay has scored an early summer hit with El Fuego, a collaboration with rising music producer Krush Flo.
El Fuego, released just days ago, has so far streamed more than 342,000 views on YouTube and is ranked at number six on the local YouTube Trending chart up to Thursday.
Krush Flo is over the moon about the song’s success thus far.
“The feedback since we released El Fuego has been a bit more fire than usual. Lots of people have been reaching out to me for more content and loving the vibe and the movement,” said Krush Flo.
He said the collaboration with Rajah Wild happened after he was introduced to the artiste’s team.
“Ai Milly’s team made the link with Rajah Wild and the vibe was just right. We connected musically,” said Krush Flo.
He added, “Rajah Wild is a talented artiste and he is bringing a lot to the game. Working with him was a really good vibe.”
Krush Flo is from Trelawny and it was three years ago that he began producing music. Some of his previous credits include Tired by Takeova, Nobody by Ai Milly, Fast by Trvpp, and Lecture by Trapp Gad.
The producer is gearing up to release a new project titled Traer El Fuego which will feature songs from artistes including Ai Milly, Nervz, Kant10t, and others.
Said Krush Flo: “The rhythm signifies bringing the heat. Knowing that it’s coming on to summer, so this project gives you a summer vibe. And we have this new wave of young dancehall artistes coming up who are showcasing their talent.”
Krush Flo’s aim is to tap into the international market where his music can make a significant dent.
